CDIO- Conceive, Design, Implement & Operate


PENGENALAN

Inisiatif  CDIO adalah satu kerangka pendidikan yang inovatif bagi menghasilkan generasi jurutera/teknologis masa depan. Dengan menggunakan kerangka CDIO, ia dijangkakan dapat menyediakan pelajar dengan pendidikan yang menekankan asas kejuruteraan/teknologi bagi sistem dan produk sebenar melalui konteks Conceiving - Designing - Implementing - Operating (CDIO). Oleh itu, pensyarah Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam, Politeknik Ungku Omar wajar diberi pendedahan kepada konsep CDIO. Dengan itu, pensyarah dapat menggunakan konsep CDIO dalam pengajaran mereka seterusnya dapat perkasakan pengajaran berasaskan pencapaian (outcome-based education).
